Crazy Beautiful

So I know a lot of incredible women.  It's just a fact.  Every day I feel lucky and blessed for the group of strong women (made up of family and friends) that make up my circle.  Like it's kind of crazy how lucky I am.   One woman in particular started as a work colleague, but soon after that she became a very dear friend.  Her name is Meera, and somehow, on top of her career, she manages to take care of her toddler, and own and run a successful magazine.   The magazine is called Fusia ( http://fusia.ca/ ), and its a celebration of South Asian women. It focuses on a number of topics including celebrating femininity, and womens’ social issues. ...

On the Road...

Hello friends! So we've only been home from our trip for six weeks, but it feels like a million years ago.  As I hope you all know by now, the new collection is finally available for purchase (YAY!!!) and we couldn't be more proud.  Thank you so very very much to everyone who has helped out with this in some way (you know who you are) we are lucky to have you in our lives and we think the world of you!  And if you HAVEN'T checked it out yet - you totally should http://www.yyzimports.ca/collections/rumours. Not ready for fall...

So it seemed all people could talk about this week is the end of summer, and that is something I am just not willing to deal with yet.  So rather than letting looming cold weather depression set in, let's soak up every last ounce of this beautiful (and way too short season).  It doesn't even end until September 21st people, so keep those socks in the drawer and enjoy every minute, every ray of sunshine....that's what we've been doing! While out enjoying the weather, we took some fun summer inspired photos with some of our new pieces.  For the remaining 14 days of summer we're going to be adding these pics to our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/yyzimports ), our Instagram (http://instagram.com/yyzimports) and on Twitter...

Double Up!

Hello friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend.  Whether you are a mother, a daughter, a sister or a friend, we hope you did something nice for yourself this weekend and also did something nice for someone else.  Spring is in the air...FINALLY. So we've had a few customers ask about the length of the chains on our pieces and whether we have some shorter options.  At the moment most of our chains are similar in length and tend to lay below the chest depending on your body type.  Many of our chains however, allow for you to shorten the chain simply by hooking up the clasp to a link in the chain.   Voila.   This...
